The Project
TREnD (Teaching Resilience and Environmental Democracy) builds staff capacity, strengthens digital competencies and civic engagement, and combats misinformation in line with the EU Green Deal and SDG4.
The initiative promotes resilience, environmental democracy, and sustainability by supporting academic staff development and enhancing students’ digital and intercultural skills. TREnD also supports civic participation and engagement, while helping learners to recognise and address environmental misinformation.

Virtual Exchanges
Virtual Exchanges (VE) are grounded in Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) methods and use technology to connect students across geographical and cultural borders for meaningful interaction.
VR/XR experiences
While Virtual Exchanges connect people, Virtual and Extended Reality (VR/XR) transform digital assignments and content creation into immersive learning opportunities.
Collaborative Maps
Creating shared digital maps stimulates systemic and critical thinking and allows us to unveil layers of reality that often remain invisible to the naked eye.
